 In 1991, shortly after he witnessed the making of an adult film, Adam Glasser borrowed a camera and directed his first adult film. After editing it himself, Adam took it to an adult film convention in Las Vegas and found a distributor who wanted Adam to produce and direct films. In order to create an alter ego for himself, Adam chose a name that was not only easy to remember, but reminded him of a playground joke he heard in grade school. In 1992, Seymore Butts was born. Since 1992, Adam has produced and directed over 100 adult movies. His movies are distributed in over 20 different countries throughout the world including Canada, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Mexico, The UK, Australia and New Zealand. Adam's productions have received a multitude of awards over the years including Gonzo series of the year, two years in a row. In 2004, he was inducted into the X-Rated Critics Organization's Hall of Fame and in 2005, Adam was also inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame. He is currently serving his first term as an elected member of the Free Speech Coalition's Executive Board of Directors.  Heatwave Classics is a division of Heatwave Video. Based out of California, Heatwave has been involved in the adult Industry since 1992. Heatwave Video owner Gabor Esterhazy told AVN.com that consumers would begin to notice significant changes in the company's line of products beginning this month. Esterhazy said he has made key improvements in production, marketing and sales during recent weeks as Heatwave Video revamps its image. The 15-year industry veteran has hired new directors, green-lighted a handful of new series and turned his focus to hard-edged content. Heatwave's videos now will include more anal, d.p.'s and A2M, more scenes and have running times up to 140 minutes. Esterhazy told AVN.com he refuses to allow Heatwave to be a "mediocre" company that is just part of the "I want to be up there. I want to be one of the best," Esterhazy, who founded Heatwave 12 years ago, said Friday. "Change is always good. The general public will really feel the difference starting this month, and we have a lot of good movies in the can." Heatwave Classics boasts a specialty in ethnic fare that includes titles like South Central Hookers, Girlz N Da Hood and Rump Shakers. |
